One year ago on the 22nd of Iyar, we have lost a very special Friend who was dear to our hearts, one of the founders of the Jewish community in Guangzhou who was like a father to all of us.

R’ Chaim David ben Shlomo Boxbaum ע״ה.

R’ Chaim David was the first Jewish lawyer in China, helped thousands of people and companies from all over the world with a lot of kindness.

R’ Chaim David always helped everybody, he knew how to give everyone the right advice for every situation with courage and honesty and a constant smile on his face.

In a joint decision of some friends and family members, we decided to start writing a new Sefer Torah for the upliftment of his soul, and would be happy if you could take a part.
